The Glenn Gould Conference. Toronto. An international symposium planned by the Glenn Gould Foundation entitled Music and Communication in the 21st Century: Variations on Themes of Glenn Gould commemorates the 10th anniversary of Gould's death. The National Library of Canada created an exhibition and launched its Glenn Gould: Descriptive Catalogue of the Glenn Gould Papers. As well, Oxford University Press will release a book of Gould correspondence in English, and Bourgois will issue the French version. A play by David Young called Glenn was premiered at this conference

October 2-4, 1992

International Glenn Gould Piano Festival: Homage to Glenn Gould was organized by the International Glenn Gould Society in Groningen. As well as many scholarly presentations and concerts, the play Glenn by David Young was presented and a new biography by Michael Stegemann, published by Piper Verlag of Munich, was launched

Ongoing

Sony/CBS has been converting all Gould's recordings to CDs and has issued any of the tapes which Gould left at his death in complete enough form for commercial distribution. Also, the CBC and Glenn Gould Limited, in collaboration with Sony/CBS, has been issuing CDs and videocassettes of many of Gould's radio and television performances and documentaries
